New-build electrical work in Fort McMurray and Wood Buffalo combines all the standard rough-in scope with a few extras unique to our climate and lot conditions. Crescent Electric handles the entire scope — service from ATCO Electric, panel and grounding, branch-circuit rough-in, data and structured cabling, exterior receptacles and lighting, garage and shop circuits, block-heater outlets, smoke and CO interconnect, and the final inspection — for builders working in Parsons Creek, Stone Creek, Eagle Ridge, Saline Creek, and on rural Wood Buffalo lots.
The form above gathers the basics: address, square footage, bedroom and bathroom count, and any project-specific details. The more we know up front — finishing schedule, kitchen island layout, planned EV chargers or hot tubs, basement secondary suite, garage heating, exterior outbuildings — the more accurate our quote will be. Photos or PDFs of the floor plan and electrical-loaded drawings (if your designer has done them) help us spot any code or service-size issues before framing.
Crescent Electric pulls the electrical permit through the Wood Buffalo Safety Codes Permit Service in our company's name and coordinates both the rough-in and final inspections with the appointed authority having jurisdiction. We typically attend your site for an initial walkthrough at framing, the rough-in install (usually 2–4 days for a standard single-family home), the rough-in inspection, and the trim/final visit after paint. For bigger custom builds and multi-unit projects, please use the bid room instead so we can return a fully-engineered tender response.
